Healing & repair

BPC-157 + TB-500

The most talked-about "recovery" pairing
In this stack

Why people pair them

In animal studies, BPC-157 is mostly linked with new blood vessel growth and protecting tissue, while TB-500 (a fragment of thymosin beta-4) is linked with helping repair cells move into an injured area. The idea is that two different repair pathways cover more ground together.

What the research shows

Both are studied mainly in rats and in the lab. There are no published human trials of either one for injury recovery, and none of the combination. Claims of faster healing in people come from personal reports, not trials.

Extra things to consider

  • Effects and safety in people are largely unknown, alone or together
  • Both encourage new blood vessel growth in animals, a theoretical concern with any history of cancer
  • Both are prohibited in sport
  • Products sold online vary in purity and content

Ask your doctor

  • What does the evidence say for my injury specifically?
  • Are physiotherapy or approved treatments a better first step?
  • Is there anything in my history that makes this risky?
